What are Buena Vista University Centers?
Buena Vista University Centers are upper division undergraduate programs offering classes at the junior and senior level which lead to a Bachelor of Arts degree. These programs are uniquely designed to fit the shedules of students with family and career obligations. The Iowa Falls Center offers classes in the evening and daytime hours.

What are the Requirements for a B.A.?
128 Semester hours including:
• Last 60 hours from a four-year college.
• Last 30 hours from BVU.
• Completion of a major and (where required) a minor.
• General education requirements or an A.A. degree.
• Exams in English and Mathematics.
• Satisfactory grade point average.
Many students with an A.A. degree finish their program in as little as two years.

Is Financial Aid available?
Qualified students may receive financial aid in the form of grants from federal and state agencies. Government guaranteed student loans are available to those who demonstrate need. Iowa Tuition Grants can cover up to 1/2 your tuition.
Applications are sent out in the mail upon request. There is no charge to submit the financial aid application form. Note deadline dates on the application form.
