Enjoy the Boat Club
The Scenic City Empress Boat Club was built in 1937 and has been a rich Scenic City tradition. The cozy, riverside, log cabin Boat Club is available for rent year round for parties, corporate meetings, conferences, wedding receptions, class or family reunions.
Cruise the Iowa River
Take the Empress for a 90 minute Iowa river cruise and see limestone bluffs, historic homes, beautiful park scenery and the Iowa Falls Swinging Bridge. Your captain will provide a historical narrative of the river.
The Empress seats 44 for catered cruises in the enclosed lower deck. Passengers may also enjoy the open upper deck for a great vantage point to enjoy the outdoors.
Operating from May to mid-October is the Scenic City Empress-the crown jewel of the Iowa River. This 50 passenger double decker party pontoon is docked at the Boat Club.
Our director can plan your entire event including full service catering, decorating and event planning. The Boat Club is also your one stop shop for group bus travel tours of Iowa Falls.
 Cruising season runs from June to October. |
