CULTURE! One of the newest treasures in Iowa Falls is the Pat Clark Art Collection, featuring over 270 works by nationally and internationally known artists. The collection is housed in another Iowa Falls treasure, the Carnegie building, built in 1904.
The River City Kids (RCK) is a theater group for children from 3rd through 8th grade. This long-running program has entertained the community and taught theater skills to young people for many years. Each year the River City Kids put on a production in the Iowa Falls-Alden High School Auditorium. Auditions are held annually to select interested students for RCK. |

The wonderfully renovated Metropolitan Theater is a historic gem with two screens as well as a live production stage for the Pastime Players, our local theater group. The theater shows first-run movies.

Iowa Falls is fast becoming known as the renewable energy center of the Midwest. Hawkeye Renewables built a new ethanol plant here in 2004 with plans already in place for a major expansion. Cargill just announced they will soon build a bio-diesel plant. Renewable energy is a plus for our environment and our economy.

Ellsworth Municipal Hospital is a 42-bed facility with a newly expanded birth center. There are sixteen visiting specialists offering thirteen outpatient specialty clinics.
